See below: You're not really allergic to soap per se. Chemically, soap is the same thing (salts with fatty acid chains) as your cell membranes. You're allergic to a component of the soap you're using - often perfumes, dyes, or oils. I would suggest you use an ordinary pure glycerin soap. It's available at large grocery stores, Trader Joe's, and Whole Foods.
