A member asked:

Would i be okay to wait to have crown glued in?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Some risk: The presence of the crown will protect the underlying tooth from further infection and decay. If you delay in getting it fixed, you may find that you need further tooth removal and a new crown. Better to find out sooner, rather than later. Also decay is a common reason that crowns will fall out so you might be beyond this point anyway.
