This is a form : Of self -mutilation. Physical pain may distract you from emotional pain. It may be self punishment. The blood may excite you sexually. Bottom line, is that i don't know you so i can't answer the question. Ask yourself what is the payoff for doing it. You wouldn't do it if there wasn't some form of payoff.
