Lack of fluids: Mild dehydration can be corrected by increasing fluid intake. Severe dehydration can be life threatening and lead to shock. I'm wondering why you are directing this to dentists? Do you have a particular dental concern relating to this topic?

Dehydrate/rehydrate: Enamel or other layer of teeth is made of the rods. when air replaces the water among the rods it changes the refractory index of the rods. This makes them look whiter or with opaque spots. This is called dehydration of the teeth. Saliva after a while replaces the air with liquid and rehydrates the teeth.

Dehydration vs Over: Dehydration (hypohydration) occurs when your body does not have as much water and fluids as it should. Overhydration is a potentially serious condition, one that can throw off the balance between water and sodium in your blood.
