Missing tooth: That depends on which tooth it is and why it is missing. Really need a little more information, but generally the replacement of teeth can be achieved through making a partial denture which is a removable appliance, a bridge which is crowns hooked together and anchored to adjacent teeth and is cemented in permanently, or the placement of an implant with a crown on top of that. Hope that helps.
