A member asked:

I am 25 years old, and my period is 10 days late. how likely is it that i am pregnant? or is there something else that could be causing this?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Take a test: At 25 years of age, if you are sexually active, and having unprotected sex, then the chances of pregnancy are definitely there. Btw, your profile states you are 47 years of age. Definitely hormones, extremes of weight and thyroid problems can cause delays in periods as well. Best, though, is to take a pregnancy test. Don't wait, take a test and then you'll know.
