Monitor closely: Typically, cool mist, keeping her upright, and well hydrated help. Monitor her intake, her comfort level, her cough frequency and color. If she is vomiting, breathing quickly and using her muscles-chest, neck etc., she must go to the hospital. Keep in contact with her pediatrician, as he or she might want to see her over the course of the illness.

Nasal saline: Keep the baby well hydrated, use nasal saline and cool air mist. If there are signs of air hunger, duskiness, use of chest wall muscles to breathe, please see your pediatrician right away.
