What to drink if you suffer from panic disorder? will beer or wine keep me mellower?

Panic + Alcohol: Panic disorder is relatively easy to treat. Why accept to live with it? Alcohol may make you feel momentarily better but it will not solve the problem. If you postpone treatment you may end up having to use more and more alcohol to take off the edge. Dealing with excessive drinking is more difficult. A cognitive behavioral psychotherapist specialized in panic will help you more.

Agree w Dr. Sassoon.: Alcohol is not the answer for panic disorder. Talk about feelings & address problems. Don't avoid them. Aim for 7.5 - 8 hours of sleep/ night. Daily physical activity is optimal in a green space. Eat healthfully. Cut out junk carbs, caffeine & alcohol (or moderate). Try Qi Gong, Tai Chi, acupuncture, acupressure, homeopathy, meditation, Yoga, exercise program, deep breathing exercises or >
