Celiac disease: Also called gluten intolerance or gluten-sensitive enteropathy is a disease in which the villi of the small intertines are damaged by an abnormal immune response to a grain protein (gluten) present in wheat, rye, barley and oats. Damage to villi results in malabsorbtion of nutrients and result in belly pain, vomiting, constipation, diarrhea, wgt. Loss, poor growth, dermatitis herpetiformis & more.
