Why is it that when i hold my hand out. my middle finger will drop down and the other two fingers will drop down to. on their own?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Nerve problem: Ask your doctor or a neurologist to find the cause. There is a muscle problem in keeping the fingers up and site of problem has to be evaluated. These muscles are controlled by nerves and may just be compressed or there is damage. Atrophy of involved muscles may be seen. Also test lytes as you are on Nexium (esomeprazole) and can affect magnesium level although it usually causes twitching instead if low.
