Ovulation: During ovulation you can encounter the same situation, but sometimes its just a Progesterone effect on the uterus at the end of the menstrual cycle. At the begining of your cycle you have an estrogen effect on the uterus and in the latter part of your menstrual cylce you get a Progesterone effect that causes you to menstruate, and it might cause those symptoms you are refering.
