Not if you had an: Actual period in october and have not been sexually active since september. Reasons for missed / late period include: an anovulatory cycle in which no egg is released, marked v or ^ in weight; eating disorder; over-exercising (endurance athletics), travel, significant illnesses, oral contraceptives ; other meds, illegal drug use, breast feeding, hormone imbalances and medical problems (i.e., pcos).

Can I be pregnant?: Nope, not if your period in october was on time and normal. There are many reasons females miss periods. I think many of your girlfriends will have stories or information for you to share. But, if the story is not 100% accurate or the period in october was not normal then doing a home pregnancy test won't hurt. There are probably ten to twenty common reasons for a missed period.
