Hyperpigmentation: A variety of topical treatments are available to lighten/bleach hyperpigmented lesions in epidermal hypermelanosis. Varying degrees of success are achieved but combinations of the treatments below are usually required for improvement:hydroquinone, tretinoin cream, corticosteroid creams, glycolic acid peels, azelaic acid.
