All kinds of things: The list of things causing tachycardia and restlessness is much longer than this space allows. For instance -- the effects of many drugs like asthma medications, being hyperthyroid, withdrawing from alcohol or benzodiazepines, etc. Heart arrhythmias can cause these also. Please see your own physician, who knows you and your medical history. If these symptoms are acute and severe, go to an er.
