Do you mean Lupus?: I am guessing you are asking about systemic lupus erythematosis. This is a systemic (total body) autoimmune disease . It most commonly causes rashes, oral ulcers, joint swelling, pleurisy, pericarditis and many lab abnormalities. In its most severe form it can cause kidney, brain, or other organ damage.
