Many ways: A parents death affects adults too! we are all affected when we lose a loved one. We tend to feel abandoned initially...Good counseling helps a lot to help children adjust and to get questions answered. Really young children often do not remember the parent. The last lecture by randy pausch is a beautiful book and worth reading as he was a dying parent and left his family a wonderful legacy.
