Options:: 1. Do nothing and wait until you have a flare-up of pain and swelling and perhaps have to have the tooth extracted. 2. Ponder over what to do as things get worse. 3. Try to have a dentist who cannot examine you answer this question over the internet. 4. See a dentist for a consult to determine the cause and discuss appropriate treatment as soon as possible. My recommendation is #4.

Loose tooth: Your best option is to see a dentist to find out your treatment options. Without treatment it is likely that your tooth will get worse.
