Yes: Stress is a big contributing factor for mouth sores, poor healing, and pain. Stress from anxiety can be significant in wound healing. Mouth ulcers; the same. Poor nutrition is another major player in delayed healing. Sufficient water intake is also important. If anxiety cannot be improved right away, make sure other factors are taken care of. If persists, see a doctor to check the sores.
