No test for eating: Disorders that are specific enough to diagnose them. However a number of the blood tests on a chemistry profile can show up as abnormal and indicate the doctor that you are having trouble with an eating disorder. Not for diagnosis: There is no blood test to verify a feeding disorder diagnosis, like there is for measles or HIV. Since those with the problem can mess up their bodies metabolism they can often have abnormal blood values on several tests, but these are not specific to any diagnosis.
