Better: As a dentist, i'm sorry to hear about her bad dental experience. If you feel this was caused by lack of communication, discuss this concern with the doctor/office to make better for her next time. If she has a condition that the office requires a special arrangement, and is not equipped to do so, ask for a referral to another dentist's office where her concern is compassionately taken care of.

Hard to say...: Without knowing any of the particulars regarding her unpleasant experience, it is so hard to advise you on what to do. If it is something that you can talk to the dentist about, then do so. If you can't I guess you cold always change dentists

Your wife still needs regular care. If she is dissatisfied with her Dentist she can find a new provider. The new Dentist can request records transfer. (f a serious condition exists new Dentist may choose to refer her to appropriate specialists.
