Avoid BLT: If is is back pain and controllable pain with anti-inflammatories and heat or ice, you should avoid BLT bending lifting and twisting and don't just go to bed. Try to be active walking is a good program. If you are not better in three weeks then you should have a spinal evaluation and imaging to improve your recovery.

Have you been: medically evaluated ? Acute injury with MVA warrants medical evaluation.

Depends: If it is 1-5 days after, and is a stiff/sore/ache pain, then tylenol (acetaminophen) or advil and cold compresses to sore areas will help reduce pain. If sharp/severe or new, then should see a dr and get rechecked +/- muscle relaxant.
