No, get vaccinated: Vitamin C does not prevent the flu. Best way to avoid getting the flu is to take the flu vaccine (shot or nasal squirt). Also, avoid direct skin to skin contact with people who have it. Influenza is often transmitted after a simple handshake. Hand washing after contact with other people can block the spread.
