A member asked:

How long does it take for period to come after pill? 1yr too much? i'm not sexual active and i haven't gotten my period sice than. do i need surgery?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

One year is long....: As in all things medical, there is a range. Most women restart periods within a couple of months of stopping the pill. Women who have had very irregular or infrequent periods before going on the pill may take longer to restart. It would be very reasonble to check with your doctor about this. Good luck. Lgromkomd.
