Keep it clean: If you can see yellow fat tissue, or the bleeding won't stop, you probably need stitches. If there is no fat exposed you probably can treat the cut by washing it with soap and water then drying it and applying bacitracin.

Finger cut: If the wound is not too deep , there is no bleeding , no injury to tendons in finger then wound can be approximated using steristrips . Depending on how dirty the wound is and when last tetanus immunisation was given ,need for tetanus immunisation and antibiotics would have to be considered so best to consult your doctor.
