Can smoking cause hives?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not usually: but there are literally hundreds of chemicals that you are introducing to your body when you smoke tobacco, including additives, preservatives and flavorings, including menthol and others. You could have allergy to any of them. See your doctor or an allergist, but the single best thing you can now do for your health, allergy or no, is to STOP SMOKING> Talk to your doctor about ways to do this.
