A member asked:

How does aspirin get rid of headaches?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Pain Pathway: Aspirin and most other analgesics work through stopping the chemicals that are mediators of pain pathways. In other words, for one to experience pain, the signal has to be carried out through nerves and chemicals have to mediate. Aspirin and a lot of other analgesics work by stopping the production of the chemicals.
