I was very ill and went to the doctor. he did not say the diagnosis but prescribed the following: antibiotics, zofer, imodium, (loperamide) scopex. what's it for?

Antibiotics: None of these medications is an antibiotic. One is used to inhibit vomiting, one to try and stop diarrhea and the last is used to treat spasm of the stomach. Cannot imagine that these were not discussed with you or that the doctor did not entertain a diagnosis. You might want to go back ; establish better communication. Good luck.
