May not be related: Sounds like you are taking antibiotics to treat a respiratory tract infection. One way your infection and back pain may be related is if the infection traveled to your spine. Or you may have had a back condition such as a disc herniation which can become painful by coughing, as well as by sneezing and forceful laughing. Mention it to your doctor if not getting better.
