Today is the 24th i'm either suppose to start the 26th or 27th. i know it's better to wait for my period but would a test show a positive result today?

Within a week of...: The hpts are quite good but may not be able to pick-up the small amount of hormone--hcg--less than 2 wks after conception. Usually within the first week of missing your period the home pregnancy test should give you a smile, if that is what u r wishing. It won't hurt if you check it now, but you maybe disappointed with a neg reading. If neg, recheck in a few days take your vitamins.... Good luck.
