Gyn: If monostat has failed it is time for you to get a pelvic exam and have cultures obtained. Consider gardnerella or trichomonas as possibilities. These are best diagnosed by exam and you may need antibiotics.

Vaginitis: You may have had more than one issue in progress, or you have become reinfected. This might well deserve a visit to your doctor to make sure that you don't have another form of vaginal infection. If you are sexually active you really want to also be examined for stds. Go and be seen and good luck.
