Can you get cellulitis of the eye if infected and you rub it?

Naah: Cellulitis is an infection of the deeper skin structures. You would really have to claw at the eye to get cellulitis. But anything is possible i guess, especially if there is a deep wound.

Eyelids more likely: It's more likely that the eyelids would develop cellulitis.
