No, it dose not: Adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) will not cause you to wake up early in the morning. You have terminal insomnia, which means that you cannot sleep through to the end ( terminus) of your sleep period. It can be caused by emotional issues, pain, and discomfort. Not likely: Adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) lasts about 6 hours. Adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) xr lasts about 10 hours. If you take them in the morning after you get up, then they should wear off by dinner time. This means they would have no effect during the night hours. If you want them to wear off sooner, you can take vitamin c or drink a citric beverage or drink with citric acid.
