Burn treatment: Lemon juice or Aspirin won't help. For treatment of minor burns, apply copious amounts of cool (not ice cold) water, then apply a cooling gel with lidocaine, then a petrolatum gauze, with a dry, absorbent bandage over that. See your doctor to avoid scarring and infection. Replace the bandage a few times a day, and watch for signs of infection including bleeding, swelling, pain, fever, or drainage.

No: Do not place Aspirin tablet or lemon juice on burn. Aloe vera straight from the plant can help burn healing.
