Absolutely yes: Tree nuts and peanut (which is a legume) are common allergens. Reactions can range from none to life-threatening if one ingests tiny amounts of nuts or other foods contaminated with peanut or nuts. If you have never had any problem with nuts or peanut, don't worry. If you had any reaction, even tingling in y our throat or a rash, see a board certified allergist=immunologist.
