Eucerin, cool shower: Dry skin might improve if after showering (which should be luke warm rather than hot in order to avoid evaporation/dehydration) the skin is pat dried (as oppose to wipe dried) followed immediately by eucerin which is an over the counter moisturizer available at any Walmart type store.

Eucerin ECZEMA CARE: Eucerin, and others, have CERAMIDE creams. Soak in shower or bath for a long time. Your fingers should be wrinkled. Hot is OK. Use skin cleansers with pH 7 or less. Avoid caustic soaps such as Ivory or deoderant soaps or antibacterial soaps. Rub in the cream within 3 minutes after you leave the water. Check with your DR in case you have low thyroid or other medical condition.
