Get an eye exam: To see the cause of floaters. Floaters may cause retinal problems. Your ophthalmologist will help you understand what is happening and hopefully this will help your anxiety.

Not a problem: Floaters are rarely a problem. I never see mine until someone tells me about theirs, then I see tadpoles everywhere. The jelly in the eye is not homogenized, so in bright light or looking at light colored walls, we tend to send the shadows of the stands in our vitreous in our vision. If a large one comes and stays at around 50, it could be a posterior detached vitreous. That should be examined
