Possibilities...: Possible etiologies of a chronic cough include bronchospasm from any cause, gerd, post-nasal drip or a combination of diagnoses. Since all of these have different treatments, it is important that your doctor evaluates you so the diagnosis can be made and treatment initiated. If you smoke, you need to quit. You doctor can help with this as well.
