My best friend has lyme disease, i'm scared for him. what is the normal prognosis?

It depends: It really depends on the stage of the lyme disease. For instance, significant heart or nervous system involvement is much more severe than primary lyme disease. All stages are treated with antibiotics. Some issues require additional treatment.
