Pregnancy terminatio: The most reliable way to see if the pregnancy has terminated is to follow the serum blood test for pregnancy (it has to be the "quantitative" test). The sign of success is that within 48 hours the level of HCG hormone starts to go down and keeps going down eventually over a few weeks to zero.
