Being a Mother: I tend to agree with your doctor. I spent years working with children and high risk pregnancies. Your children that you have need to grow up with their mother. I would not risk your health or life on that innate feeling of wanting to reproduce. Your doctor have your very best interests at heart. Continue to be a great mother to your children.
