?Allergy: Alimentum is recommended for infants with true milk or soy allergy. It is, therefore, very unlikely to develop an "allergic reaction" to it.

Confusing question: The alumentum consists of elemental proteins in a blended mix, a process that mimics digestion.The babies system cannot react to these like they would bovine or soy protein that are in their original state. You would expect the kid to settle down digestion in the 3-4 days it takes for the previous formula to exit the system. The powder form has some corn solids a kid can still have problems with.
