A member asked:

Starting victoza (liraglutide) 1.2 today, was on victoza (liraglutide) 0.6 for 2 weeks, should i be expecting any new side effects today?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Possibly -Yes : Since you are starting a higher dose you may experience headache , nausea/ diarrhea, . Nausea is the most common issue, but it is normally transient and will pass over time. If you experience this at start of low dose then it may occur. We normally want to monitor for side effects with increase dose of medications. Report any persistent/worsening problems to your doctor. Take care.
