Time in cycle?: Where are you in your cycle? Could the bleeding be due to hormones and not the fingering? It's hard to say what the cause is, but you have to consider that if it was 'rough' as you say, that there's some bleeding from the lining of the vagina. You can have sex, but it might be painful. Go slow and make sure you're in control of the sex act, so you don't have to submit to painful sex.
