A member asked:

I have a vp shunt and at 1st i could notice it was there and now it feels like i don't even have one is this normal?

Yes: The vp shunt which includes the reservoir and the tubing travel just beneath the skin. It is not unusual to be able to feel the shunt. Over time there is scar and a thickening of the overlying skin/tissue. This makes the shunt more visible and more palpable.
