Femara (letrozole): Femara seems to be better at ovulation induction than clomid (clomiphene). It has a shorter half life therefore it is not in the body very long. Clomid (clomiphene) has a long half life thus after repeated Clomid (clomiphene) cycles the chance of pregnancy decreases due to the estrogen blockage at the uterus.
