Depends: If you have diarrhea-predominant ibs, the stools will be looser. If constipation-predominant, then harder. Usually stool color is not greatly affected by ibs.

Ibs: Ibs does not usually change the color of stool however some people get very constipated and others get diarrhea and that will dictate how the stool character is.
