Blood.: Coughing up blood can sometimes occur with lung infection. You need to see your physician to have this evaluated with chest ct scan.

Possible pneumonia: You may have pneumonis with blood and dark phlegm. You need a chest x-ray. Other causes include severe bronchitis esp when smoking and pulmonary malignancy.
