Pulmonary circulatio: Your heart is divided by the right and left side. The right side pumps blood through the lungs (pulmonary circulation) with blood deficient in oxygen were it picks up oxygen and delivers it to the left. The left side then pumps blood rich in oxygen to the body, systemic circulation. Hope that clarifies your question.
