Ask the Pharmacist: Midol is not a birth control medicine but used for menstrual cramps.Midol long acting does contain ibuprophen and advil (ibuprofen) cold and sinus also contain ibuprophen and you may be taking too much however there is also a midol complete which does not contain ibuprophen and contains acetaminophen.Ask the pharmacist if you can take them together.You can however take birth control pills if you are takin.
