Can't answer questio: Your question is unanswerable. Different people gain different amounts of weight when taking zyprexa (olanzapine) and lose different amounts of weight when it is stopped and depending upon what it is substituted with. There is no average amount of weight loss after stopping zyprexa (olanzapine) that I have been able to find. Perhaps one of my colleagues will come across an article that references this issue.

It depends: Olanzapine is known to increase appetite and cause weight gain. With good diet and exercise, you can expect to rapidly shed weight. There are other similar medications that cause much less weight gain. Talk your doctor!
